Adobe Magazine

Plazm was asked to design feature spreads and the cover for the inaugural issue of Adobe Magazine. The magazine features stories about individuals and firms working in creative industries—photography, animation, print, web using Adobe products. One of the interesting things about this magazine is that the delivery mechanism is a PDF. Adobe asked us to push the interactive components as much as possible. Some tricky issues came up during the creation. It's a bit like early-internet days wth simple rollovers and pop-ups. Very fun and refreshing. The cover, featured above, reacts to user movements rolling over certain colors. The landing state is pure CMYK to RGB—signals the evolution of the magazine from print to digitall? Who knows. We're going to keep printing them.
