Sarah Dougher: The Bluff

The third solo album by Sarah Dougher explores the figurative and metaphorical interpretation of the sanctioned lie. The packaging for this CD stresses the averted and effaced gaze contrasted with direct eye contact, as well as the destruction by fire of the actual bluff that shows up in the title track of the record. The typography also evokes the tension of the cliff, tottering yet balanced.
