Plazm Online Privacy and Protection Policy
Plazm understands that people who use our website want to know that the information they provide remains securely within our grasp, and is not leaked or otherwise shared. Here are the answers to some questions we commonly receive about our website privacy, and these answers constitute our policy on the matter.
What kind of information does Plazm collect?
When you buy a product online, we collect your name, email address and credit card information; if you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address. Our transactions are guaranteed secure and processed through Authorize.net's Payflow System.
What do we use this information for?
To get you the stuff you are ordering. To show you the stuff we think
you'd like: from time to time we can offer you information about
products and services that we think you might like as well as tell you
about events and happenings that Plazm is part of.
What kind of information do we disclose to outside parties?
When we talk to potential advertisers for our magazine, we compile
statistics that help them understand who reads the magazine and where it
gets distributed. These statistics are gathered through printed magazine
reader surveys, or online surveys. We never give out any personally
identifying information to outside parties.
What is Plazm email news, and how do I get it?
This newsletter, which is sent out periodically—never more than once a month—is meant to keep our readers informed about new products, special offers, art events, happenings, and goings-on at Plazm. If you wish to add yourself to this emailing list, submit your email address at the top right of the page. You will be able to opt out at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
