Newsweek

Rebranding, Editorial Design

When the venerable Newsweek brand sought to explore its future, they invited Plazm to reimagine the brand and the magazine’s editorial design.

Our own heritage goes back to 1991—not as long as Newsweek’s history, but filled with experience in publishing, publication, magazine design, and typography work. We provided a refreshed, modernized logo and magazine design with custom typeface for brand name and headlines. The design included a full print edition, section heads, illustrations. Our collaborator Larry Smith provided editorial direction.
